As far as parks go, Rising is fine n dandy but it is Mount Pleasant that brings visitors from many places.

I have taken pics here for over a decade and bought the domain Risingpark.com . Domains with popular names auction off for $$$.
Later I do not want someone to buy it and make it a commercial website. As I type this, it cost about $15 a year to keep registered. Once you lose it.. ugh it will cost big bucks to buy back.

I thought there ought to be a Mount Pleasant Friends group.

The thought being the membership list will be there for announcements of a special event.

I have met some park dwellers who visit often and hoped they might take the Mt P Group & website in the future. They can change the contents of the site.

Through the years I have talked to bunches of strangers, then wonder what happened to them.. like these guys. Sometimes people approach me n tell me I had taken their pics :)

Then a few times I get to watch their adventures through time. Scanning FB for Mt Pics I spotted a girl hanging on the rail with her pup.. later met her n her mom on Mt P, the very first pic I took of TheMick :) High school kid.. then this year I was walking down the trail and up she came with her side kick n two pups.

One of the park dwellers who came up letting me play photographer on one spring day I thought I would try doing a video. The sun comes up in the east so you can never see a sunrise so I captured a sunset video, reversed it and turned it into my sunrise video https://youtu.be/gsosT0TeKN8

I hope to make one more video and include some others in a short clip .. 

Sharing pics.. Don't be tempted to post a whole bunch of your pics.. Just pick a couple good ones. When you are with others, just ask a visitor to take a few pics of all of you together.

If I have taken pics of you that you would like printed, I will send you the full resolution image (or possibly could send it to Walmart where you could pick it up???)

Not all pics are great but I can do a bit of photoshop on some if it is not too bad or come up some afternoon to try again.

I love to capture park dwellers in my photo safari's BUT if you ever want your pic removed (while I am still kicking) .. IF I can find it, I will yank it if it is you.

The top pic, the first year of our photo safari. The pic a bit fuzzy but the guy who took it, I kept in contact with em.. I went to their wedding n took some pics.. (I think the pic with PuppyDog n me is one of the first )
